Fuel Grade (prolly a dumb question)

Does the base Cooper still require premium fuel? I'm asking because it's not the same engine as before.

The MINI manual is available on line. I think it says 91 octane.

I also read in a review somewhere that 91 is the minimum octane...

91 Definitely. The manual says it will run on 87, but it is not recommended. I assume it's only in situations where you can't get 91 for some reason.

Owner's Manual available through Owner's Lounge---click "Your MINI" and it is a choice on the left menu. It is a great read while you wait for delivery.

Thank you all. I'll check out the owners manual first chance.
