DSC and Flat tire service lights won't go off
I have a 2004 Mini. My tire pressure is ok, but my DSC and flat tire service lights won't go out. I have tried the reset button under the emergency brake. Turning the car off and on hasn't helped. Any thoughts? My tires were put on new, 55,000 miles ago. The tire pressure has been staying the same. Our weather conditions are normal now, therefore no snow and ice.Any thoughts on this would be appreciated!
I appologize for this comment in advance, but did you follow the reset procedure in the manual exactly? There is no special flat sensor... the ABS system monitors each tires rotational speed. If one is faster than the others over some period of time, then it thinks that that tire is low on air and turns on the light. When you go around a curve, obviously your outside tires are turning faster than your inside tires. Therefore the steering angle sensor must tell the system what you are doing (driving straight or in a curve). I believe the flat monitor will only activate after the steering angle sensor thinks you are going in a straight line for a set time period. Any of this could be your problem.

Same thing happens with my 03 S, It happens more when I install my 18in Racing Harts. Just cycle the key a couple of times and it goes away while you drive.
