Discovered something new this morning
I can't believe that after this long (10 months), I am still finding things. After I got off the interstate this morning (top down/all windows up), I hit the button for the back windows. Usually I hold it down, but this time I decisded to try and see if it had an auto-down like the front windows. I wasn't surprised that it did, but I was surprised that the front windows then follow right behind.
Sooooooo cool! I know, I know, all the rest of you figured that out in the first 15 minutes you had the car.

Well I'm just the opposite. I knew that the button controlled all the windows- that's how I've always controlled the front windows- but I had no idea about the auto-down, that will be very handy (and less distracting as put the windows down while driving a lot). It was a little cool this morning, so I left the windows up, I'll try out the auto feature when I get in for the drive home tonight. Thanks for the tip.
I found that out after owning my car for about a month when my finger slipped off the button right after pressing it.

Here's a tip. The fastest way to put down the roof when the car is fully closed:
Another tip, if you are driving and want to put the top down: before you stop, first open everything as far as you can. While still moving, use the auto down windows and also open the roof to sunroof position. When you come to a stop (such as at a light), the roof takes very little time to go down the rest of the way.
- Quickly tap (and release) the open windows button.
- IMMEDIATELY press the open roof button (even while the rear windows are still going down)
- As soon as roof stops (sunroof position), IMMEDIATELY press again to put down the roof (even while windows are still going down).

a quick tap of the down button sends them all down
GBMINI has an auto up circuit ( I think he's a vendor on this site?) He also has a modification for track mode DSC so that the DSC is turned off when you start the car and must be manually turned back on instead of vica versa. And lastly he also has a garage door opener option too.

Though frankly, the only time I ever had the top in sunroof position is for experimentation - most of the time the top is down all the way.
Nice to know...i never knew you could open the windows and top down at the same time. Having the passenger window up and drivers side down keeps the wind from blowing to the front in cold weather too.
