Hey all,

Have a few questions about fitting a 215/45 16 tire on the Cooper S 16 x 6.5 inch wheel. The two tires I'm looking at are the Hankook R-S2 Z212 and the Falken Azenis RT-615s.

1.) Will there be problems mounting either tire onto the 6.5" wheel?

2.) Will there be "rubbing issues" (I understand the Falkens are a bit wider than the Hankooks)?

3.) The Hankooks seem to be the choice if you want slightly better wet traction. Anyone have experience with this?

215/45-16 will fit your stock wheels with no problems and no rubbing. Can't comment directly on Hankook vs Azenis as after watching others on the Hankooks I chose to stick with Azenis.

That's just the info. I was needing. I'm planning on running in GS this year, so my suspension will stay stock for a while. I figured it wouldn't be an issue, but wanted to be double sure before I put down my hard-earned cash on a potential mistake.
