It's Here ...

You may recall that I canceled the order for my R56 when I found and fell in love with a brand new R53 with nearly the same configuration.

I don't think it would be appropriate to post pictures of it here, but there are a few on the first generation forum for those that asked for pictures that fateful day when so many of you helped me decide between the R56 and the R53. I thank you all.

Congratulations Reelsmith.

I think you ought to post the picture here. After all, we did each get to put in our two cents worth toward your decision. There were good arguments toward going for the R53. Heck, those arguments that were objective almost had me convinced, even though I had already ordered my R56.

The car looks great, especially with that classic MINI look to it. Would love to see a picture of the interior, specifically the controls and gauges (I prefer the R53 setup for these).

Wow, gorgeous. Good choice We all need to follow our hearts...I'm picking up my oxyblue/white R56 on Monday which is right for me just as this R53 is right for you. Drive it in good health.
