Milltek Cat-Back Exhaust Cooper Cabrio

Way of WayMotorWorks hooked me up with a Milltek Sport Cat-Back exhaust and had it custom fitted for the Cabrio.
He told me I would love it and I do!!!!! The extra power is great and I love the deeper tone. Not too much but just what I was looking for.

If you are looking for an exhaust for your Cabrio talk to Way!

I think it sounds great! Not too loud and a nice rich tone. I'm very pleased.

Look me up at the Dragon. Alfi is an Astro Black 2006 MCC with Chrome package. Actually by the Dragon I hope to have a the CAI that Way is designing for 05/06 Coopers.

Nice. I have the distinction of having the first after market exhaust (also a Miltek) on an MCc. I have loved it every day since I got it. Not sure what Way is designing for you on the intake side since there are already several after market options available including K&N, aFe, etc., but post pics when it's done.

I did the whole Miltek exhaust (catback and header)and it sounds wonderful. That coupled with a K&N intake and the power is great too. The biggest problem I have now is keeping my foot of the gas pedal.

I did the Milltek cat-back first, loved it. I started saving my pennies and just put on the Milltek exhaust manifold, an ITG foam air filter (don't need or want intake noise), and just uploaded an MTH tuner file for these mods. It's like a different car altogether, and I've only put about 50 miles on the ECU since all the upgrades and wouldn't you know it, I took a nail in a shoulder so waiting on a new tire (and jonesing to get back to 'drive it like you stole it' that they MTH rep advised me after upload).

So can you actually hear your exhaust as you're driving with the top down? I've been thinking about the Milltek as I can only hear my exhaust with the top up. Which is rare.

I realize it's hard to quantify and subjective, but I'm looking for something that'd sound fun from 2000-3000 rpm too, and be audible in the car but without highway droning or being to loud at cruising speed and light throttle. Too many times when someone demos their exhaust for me they keep reving it above 4000. Real world commuting, I don't do that.

Care to expand a bit on the nature of the sound and what you can hear drinving top down at say 25-45 mph?

Thanks in advance!
