Week 14 here too

 

I placed my order the end of February. But, was on the list for a March Order. The order was placed first part of March. Was at the dealer a few days ago and was told by the salesman and via documentation that my actual production start date is week 14, week of April 2nd. Then would ship sometime in May for a delivery of end of May, first part of June.
The salesman actually gave me the production number also. Won't have a VIN until production actually starts. That is when all the tracking fun starts.

Just bringing this back up. Seems to be a few of these threads for Week 14. I was told week 14 for production and delivery the end of May first part of June to Arizona. Seems others that claim week 14 seem to be told a much earlier delivery. Are you all closer to 1 of the coasts or other countrys?

 

Admittedly I am very excited. This will be my first MINI! So I am asking for help from my fellow Week 14'ers. I need a name for it. I know there are other threads regarding naming your MINI, but I figured we are all waiting together. Why not throw it open to the folks waiting with me? You can see the specs below, if that helps. I am looking for something very British sounding, but also fun - you know, like a MINI. Or something Irish sounding because of the green color and my "Fightin" alma mater.

And I was told second or third week in May for Pennsylvania delivery.

 

I didn't know the wood steering wheel is available now. The configurator still doesn't allow the option.

 

I know it doesn't show up in the configurator, but my MA showed me a bulletin from BMW/MINI saying they could begin ordering the wood wheel. I believe it was dated around March 10

 

The build completion date for my car is April 2nd, so I guess I join you week 14ers!

 

Looks like my car was delivered to the dock and vessel TRISTAN today. According to tracking info it was loaded on the ship and scheduled to set sail today. If this is all correct should be in California on the May 7th. So, I should have it a week or 2 after in Arizona.
My car started production on April 9th. Originally I was told week 14 and after getting into the Mini Owners site found it was actually week 15.

 

My car was loaded onto Tristan today as well. Based on the completion date I think it is week 14. Is there some place on the owners lounge that spells out the exact week? My car was received at the terminal on April 7 and has been patiently waiting for Tristan to arrive. I am hoping I can pick it up Memorial Day weekend. I ordered from MINI of Murray in Utah since it was much quicker than my local dealer in Tacoma/Seattle (10 months) or the next closest in Portland, OR (2 months).

Well, there was already a Week 14 thread going on...but I guess I'll add my $.02 here as well.

My car is onboard Freedom and arriving at Charleston on Sunday (hopefully) then on a truck to West Palm. Hoping to take delivery by the end of next week but it all seems to be a "wait and see" type of game where I won't really know until I hear from my MA that it has arrived.

Oh btw - car completed production April 4th.
