Monte is here!

PICTURES BELLOW. MY Mini Cooper S DS/B is finally home! I picked um up at 9am, did all the pappers. Its my first manual car and i have it down to where i dont stall it from a start, but there still a bit rough, but im sure practice will help. Nothing bad to say, no squeeks, nothing, everything was working, rear fog, front fogs fine. The headlights which i didnt know, adjust, so when you first turn them on, they move around a little before coming level. My MA told me its so liek if your going up a hill it can shine up or sumthing. cool. I got the JCW shifter **** w/ there on the car. Love the feel of it. Mine DID have the extra storage compartment above the glove box, which made me happy. Wireless key start is amazing, love it, nothing bad, im already used to pushing the button on the door handle to un/lock it. I would take pictures but i am Leaving for Italy tomrrow so i do not have time! But when i get back i will. Just another good report!

I will take pictures if people want of specific things with my cellphone camera rather than my canon digitial rebel xti, which would require a bit more uploading time. So if theres something someone doesnt mind a okish picture of in the next 24 hrs. feel free to ask.

So, I have to be specific? Okay ...how about one of the car?

Seriously, pictures of the nose, the side and the back would be great !

Thanks!

Excellent !

Thank you !

I ordered the two-spoke wheel as well. I think yours is the first picture of one I've seen. Our specs are pretty similar. Did you get the hi-fi upgrade? If so, what is your impression?

Lookin' good.

No didnt get the Hifi upgrade-but the regualr system. MUY BIEN! I like it alot. Sounds good. Im no musician just an avrg guy with his un avrg. car. Sounds great! One little tip with the radio. The top **** scrolls through the preset radio stations. and the arrows <---> scroll through the individiual numbers ie. 90.1-90.3-90.5 and so on. But, if you want to use the **** to scroll through the numbers, not the stations, you have to tap the "m" button which is right next to it, then it lets the **** scroll through the numbers, and you just use the aligned present buttons [Station 1, 2,,3,4,5,6,7,8,9....] to select those.

Right now hes getting miles in my developement while i become more confident going from a stop-->start. Its my first manual. I dont stall it anymore, but i need a little more time before it goes in the big streets! I found if i let the clutch out 50% before i even hit the gas, that, that helps a lot, and allows me to let the clutch out slower.
