For any of you that might be more northerly of Milwaukee, can you recommend any good window tinters in the N.E. Wisconsin / Fox Cities area? For some reason, I'm having a helluva time finding anyone here in Appleton that will do a quality job that won't cost an arm and a leg. My lowest estimate so far is $250, which sounds high to me (Ziebart wanted $320!) Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

 

It might be worth the $120 difference to drive down to Mke or Waukesha to get the job done.

Had mine done for $127 - that and it's an excuse to get out and motor.

 

I had mine done in Oshkosh, and it was well, well under 100 bucks (She charged so little, I actually paid her a bit extra--she did such a nice job, I really felt she undercharged me). She did a great job too. I THINK the name was Diamond, her name I think was Diane--she has a very small company, runs it out of a tiny shop in a not so hot area of Oshkosh. I remember driving to it, thinking "Oh boy, what have I gotten myself into", but she's very nice, uses top notch tints (I'd done a bit of research and I knew what type of tints I wanted before I called, and those were the ones she uses), takes her time--it was over a year ago that I had it done, and it still looks perfect.

She did such a great job I asked her to install my roof graphic--she thought she could do it, but she wasn't 100% sure--so she referred me to a very good graphic place in Fond du Lac who did a great job. Bottom line is she takes pride in what she does, and she won't do anything she doesn't feel comfortable doing.

I think her name is Diane; I can't remember the name of her company though--it was like Diamond, or Precision--I don't have an Oshkosh phone book. But if you call and get a woman's ansering machine, thats her. She also flexible scheduling--she did mine on a Saturday. I'd highly recommend her--top notch work, and at a great price.

 

Thrilhouse - Looks like I'm about a year behind you. My clubman is enroute right now. Did you ever find a good window tinting place? I also checked at Ziebart and they want $325. I'm going to go talk with Chuck at SunShadow tinting in Appleton tomorrow.
