Hi all,
I have read a lot about the noise the sunroof makes when closed and tooling down the road, but has anyone had a problem with the sufroof closing?

I have an '03 MCS and it opens beautifully, no noise, no problem BUT when I try to close it...it makes the most awful sound and I have to help it with my hand. If I don't help it to close, it kicks back into opening mode...

any insight?

 

Lube....

 

Be grateful your moonroof didn't blow out like mine did. Just lube the rails.....

Lube did the trick. Funny how I just jumped to a "major problem", "mountain out of mole hill"

Thanks for the tip. Had the same problem this afternoon. You guys saved me a trip to the MINI dealership.
