R56 18in wheels - is it weird if i don't lower the car

18in wheels - is it weird if i don't lower the car

help. will be ordering my car in about 24hrs. i would like to order r56 with the r105 18in wheels. do i have to lower the car? will it look funny if i left it alone?

Regardless of what size wheels you order, my personal opinion is that the R56 should be lowered. The wheel gap is a little wide for my tastes.

My experience with my R56 is the suspension settles in after a few hundred miles and the car comes down a bit. There have been a lot of photos of brand new cars shown online, so I'd say wait and see for yourself.

FWIW there was a yellow MCS with the JCW aero kit on black 18" wheels at the Phila auto show and I thought it looked great. And I don't even like 18" wheels!
