Somehow it doesn't seem right that there isn't a thread for MINI spottings in the area. (The CMMC folks have a strong thread going! ) For me, at least, it's rare to spot one when I'm tooling about, so any spotting is pretty notable.

Today I spotted two--and got two wave-backs!

• Hwy T by GE Healthcare--PS MC, vanity plates
• by Wal-Mart--BESSIE! (It's like a brush with greatness.)

I was thinking of starting this very thread about 3 days ago, but didn't because I won't have my beast back on the road until this weekend (after a long winter's nap:impatient).

Saw a dirty S last night at the southwood glenn elementary school open house/book fair in Franklin. Had aftermarket exhaust. I think it was blue?

 

Thanks for starting this up...like others, I've been meaning to get one going here. Problem is, in Wauwatosa, there are lots of little MINIs running around. Anyway:

• BRG MC parked on State St. across from the 'Tosa Chancery aroun 9:30AM today. Unfortunately, no one to wave at.

A BRG MC?S? passed me on Hwy T in Waukesha around 3-ish. I was busy fooling around with my sunroof and only caught it in my rear view...

 

CR/B MC on Hwy ES & Hwy J (Elegant Farmer) this morning ~8:05. Got a wave when we split ways in Mukwonago.

 

I think I saw the same BRG/W MC on Silvernail Rd. that I passed yesterday. This time, he double-tooted and waved! I waved back.

Awesome day for motoring today. Wish the weather would stick around longer, though.

Silver/Black S on 894 close to National this morning, and then a BRG downtown Racine this afternoon.

In the morning I was in my DS/B S, in the afternoon a CR/W loaner.

 

SB (I think - may have been a dirty AB) MCS around 76th and Wisconsin Ave - no wave in return -(Despite having a combined approach speed of ~30mph and me waving for a good 5 seconds, she was in her own little world and unaware of her surroundings)

CR/W MC shortly thereafter @ 86th and Wisconsin Ave - no wave, but we crested the hill at the same time so limited visibility time.

Spied many more @ IA when I dropped off Moe for his new engine mount (but they don't count).

 

I was right behind our esteemed club coordinator, Theresa (TNCRMPT) yesterday on Van Buren.

In my defense, I was more concerned about the chica in the GrandAm that cut me off to make a quick turn into Metro Market. Inside the store, she later also cut in the check out line. Quite annoying. So sorry I didn't wave, but I felt the need to be more attentive in front of the MINI! As long as I am confessing my soul, I would also like to note that last week I didn't wave at Mr. Wauwatosa GP because I was on my cell phone.

By the way, where have you been? Now that you are married, you can't come out to MINI events anymore? We've missed you!

I saw that GranAm cut you off... ooooh does it make me angry to see other minis get cut off!

Jen and I have been absolutely terrible with making it out to MM events. Between getting married and the Bears in the playoffs and Super Bowl (we're huge Bear fans btw and were at the games) and family stuff we haven't had much time for anything!

We're going to be among those representing Milwaukee at MOTD, but the next 2 ice cream socials we already have in our calandars.

I hope we get to see all of you soon!
