I went with DS/W. Looks classic plus it hides dirt better (except for the wheels!)

I love my Brit Green and White. Came with bonnet stripes but I did not like the way the stripes looked on the green. I love them on other colors of MINI's though. .. .

In the end, you will love whatever you choose!

I have a red/white, and at first wasnt sure. I am glad I got it, in this type of car you buy it to stand out, so I got a bright color to stand out even more.

I think it's the people who get the tickets in a red car not the color. I have the Liquid yellow. I have had plenty of red cars in the past and still own one. Statistics may say red cars grab more tickets but I think that's bunk! Maybe people who like red, drive faster and don't always make great decisions, or maybe there are more red cars on the street, or maybe more fast performance cars are out there in red. You can make a stat show any way you want.

I say pick the color you like. Don't let anybody tell you that you'll get more tickets in red.

BTW: If you don't want to stand out, don't get Liquid Yellow or for that matter don't get a MINI.

I've got a PS/B MC, and if I could get another one, I'd get an IB/W one. The indi blue and white looks so crisp, and it makes the chrome look even better, IMO.

Of course you will hear from proponents of every color when you ask this questions. I love the look of my Indi Blue/White MINI but it is so hard to keep clean. Then again, it's the first new car I've had in a long time so I make an effort to clean it more often. I'm thinking of trying one of those super waxes in the hope that it'll make a difference.

Everyone will tell you that their color is the best! I am checking in with a pure silver/black and I couldn't be happier, but it's all up to personal opinion!

Do not get Electric Blue......We do not want to many of them on the road. Stick with any other color but the electric blue.

Got Pepper White with black roof, still a somewhat if not rare, unusual combination. Car looks terrific specially after a bath (That it really needs now).

Have a '04 MCS on order in Chili Red/White roof. To me this is the traditional MINI color combo and since I have never owned a red car I tought I may go for it this time around.

I also like Pure Silver a lot but it is way too common here in South Florida. Just this morning on my way to work I saw 3 IDENTICAL PS/B Coopers with bumper chrome and 16" 5 star wheels with 1 or 2 minutes from each other. 2 weekends ago I saw to PS/B MCS' driving one behind the other on the same street. For this reason PS is a no, no for me.

I am starting to like Electric Blue and Dark Silver as well. Also too many Liquid Yellows to care here in Miami.

Color is one of the most difficult decisions to reach when ordering your MINI. First, find a dealer and look at them on the lot. Then go with your gut. You'll have second thoughts a few weeks from delivery. I wanted Velvet Red, but it was not available on an MCS, so I went with my second choice BRG/B. Then I wanted to order a die-cast model, but couldn't find one in my color combo. So, my advice is, buy a die-cast model first and then create a car to match it.

Hey, am I the only EB/W fan here?

I did have a hard time choosing, too.
ALL the colors are so cool!
My final order of preference was:
EB, DS, IB, CR, VR, LY, BRG, PW, PS, JB

I have an Indie Blue and Black MCS. To be totally honest, if your concerned with keeping it clean all the time, dont get the Indie. Its a pretty color but does get dirty, and shows it, quickly. I think your best bet is Electric Blue or Pure Silver or even Yellow. Whenever I see those colors, and they are dirty, they don't look very dirty.

Guys, I figured it out! If one of you can develop a "Dirt-colored" paint, you could satisfy everybody - except the car wash industry, who would probably have you severly beaten by people with large sponge mitts.

Yeah all you people with pure sliver are bumming me out. I thought I thought I was different. I know I have the only PS/Blk MCS with sport and prem. in the San Diego area so at least I can hold on to that for a while!

I have a MCS in indy blue/white and it shows a some dirt, lots of water spots, it scratches easily- even with something fairly soft(that has some grit in it) and it does chip in the front.

Other than that it is a really good color and I get compliments all the time, I take care of it daily and it looks really nice after 2500 miles. Beautiful color and finish. If you really like easy care don't choose too dark a color like black or indy blue. Green and velvet red is kinda dark too. I think all the metallics can scratch easily.

The pure silver is easy care and the dark silver is a very good color. Gold might be easy care. White is good- just shows dirt- little on the waterspots and scratches- just can't see them.

Choices choices- Minis are all about having and making choices- that's why there are few that look the same

I have been told that Silver cars are more difficult to see at night. Is there any truth to that?

I got the British Racing Green with white bonnet stripes. I was going for a retro look, and I'm happy with it from that aspect. The BRG does seem to show dirt easily, though it may be that I'm just a little compulsive about keeping it clean.

Oddly enought, this retro combination of colors seems to be fairly rare. I've only seen a couple of similar cars.

Yeah but the gold is only available on the Cooper.

I went with the Indi Blue and white every place I could even the wheels which I think look kind of toyish.

I like both greys but I have a silver Miata now. I really like the BRG - and despite some of the puritanical thinking I like it because it is metallic - but my Saab is dark green. I always liked deep blues and the metallic indi blue me away. If the Liquid Yellow was a bit deeper and less prone to pastel I would have gone with LY and Black and created a Steeler Mini! I first saw an electric blue in person after a snow storm sitting in grass at Mini of Sterling and it had melted the snow around it! Great color.

If I could have picked any color on the Mini line it would have been silk green and black or pepper white and black. I still don't understand why Mini skimps on the options for their top of the line model.
