Palo Uber Signature Series 17" installed

I can't say enough about how great these wheels are! Out of the box it because instantly clear how nice the finish was. Seriously, I spent hours in wheel stores looking over hundreds of wheels before choosing these, and I was simply (and happily) shocked at the quality these wheels show. Really breath taking. So far I'm getting stopped in traffic with compliments a few times per day! Everything was packaged very well, especially the included Lugs, Key, Hubcentric Rings, and Center Caps.

I checked the weight on my home scale (Doctors type) and they came in at 14.3 lbs. Not too bad for a 17" wheel!

Sean, Bryce and Carol were all FANTASTIC in the customer service department. It was a total pleasure learning more about the company, and Sir Patrick and Palo Uber heading things up in London.

I ended up choosing the General Exclaim UHP 225/45/17 tires. I'm replacing Pirelli PZero Nero's. My goal in a new tire was something with a good treadwear rating, high ratings in performance (especially in the wet), and increased ride comfort and lower road noise. If you take a few to read the reviews on Tire Rack, you can see why I chose this very inexpensive tire! So far I'm very impressed with it. (Oh, and it only weights 20 lbs, vs. 23 for my other options... how sweet is that?)

Overall I'm saving 13.7 lbs per corner!

Now, the PICS!

Out of the box...sorry it's blurry!

Man I need a black roof now!!

A little closer

There is the tinyest bit of rubbing going on when I hit a BIG downswing on the suspension. (It's stock) A few more bumps and it'll be a non-issue.

Mega Awesome wheels! I have also recently decided to get these wheels. Just saving a little first. Are those the Uber Grey or Winter Black?

universal wheel

Do Palo still use the universal 8 hole pattern? That's what turned me off on their previous wheels.

These are Uber Grey. Bryce cracked me up when I ordered..because I was interested in the Winter Black, but complained there were NO pictures of them. I asked him to describe each one... ,"Uber Grey is a VERY dark grey... and Winter Black is a VERY light Black."

Alrighty then!

I chose this shade because I felt it would match my trim color better in between detailing dressings!

06MCSa: Yeah, the have 8 holes I'm afraid... personally I love the entire look, but I can appreciate not liking the "universal" feel of these wheels. It's not so bad when I realized that it was unlikely that anyone in my entire city had them.
