HELP!! Wanting a MCS!

Hi guys, i´m new to the forum... I´m from Canada but am living in Peru, South America where until now there is no Mini Representatives and BMW says they wont bring them for the time being. I´m dying for a MCS but importing one new costs like 40,000 which is totally out of the question. my only option is buying a MCS with a fender bender (you pay less taxes ) so that i can bring it to Peru for a total reasonable cost and then fix it.

so my question is:

does anybody know where there is a database for fender bendered cars on auction or being sold as used?? hopefully you guys get the idea and can help me out...

thanks alot in advance and sorry if i posted this in the wrong place

Hi DHPeru,

i am thinking about selling my 06 MCS.
color: Royal Grey
mileage: 6500
package: Premium & Chrono
purchased: August 06
cost: $31,000.00
Modification: K&N Typhoon CAI, Alta Air Diverter, M7 OCC, M7 16% & 2% Pulleys, Engine Damper, Cargo Liner, Shift Compartment, etc...
Mod Cost: $2,000.00+
OEM Parts for the mods will be included
Car Condition: Flawless. showroom condition (willing to make a little dent for your cost reduction when importing)
Reason for Sale: new baby on the way. My MSC is a little too small and my wife thinks its dangerous for newborn babies.
My MSC has been nicely broken in. My Mini drives beautifully. Guarantee you will fall in love with. Always garaged.
selling cost: $28,000.00 firm. (all original parts will be included)
please let me know if you are interested.
thanks,

DHPeru, I know that there are a few new MCS in the streets of Bogota-Colombia. Check and see if there are any up for sale from the neighbooring country. Just so you know new MINIs (Euro Spec) are sold in venezuela and Chile. Can you import the car new from either country instead?

I cannot imagine doing willful harm to my MINI. Especially to sell it.

Just sayin.

It sounds to me like he is trying to find one that already was in an accident, not for someone to hack and slash their MINI to sell to him.

Oops, was referring to second post's offer, not original post. I've now convinced myself that the second poster was joking.

He never says anything about breaking anything, except that the MINI was properly broken in.

I'm actually going to be putting mine up for sale soon, I think, not 100% yet.

2005 Pure Silver, Black Roof black stripes.

19% pulley (can put stock one back if you'd like)
Hot Air Intake (Again, can put stock one back in)
~36k Miles
Black and Gray Cloth interior
Cold weather, premium and sport packages
Moonroof
6 Speed

Clutch was replaced, as I learned to drive stick on it and beat it up pretty bad, works perfect now.

And a big scrape on the driver's side door, you'd need a new door (But that's the only piece that's damaged). Also, the windshield has a crack, but it's warrantied so I can fix that if you'd like. PM me if you have any questions.

-Chris
