FYI, CHP and San Mateo County Sheriffs have been cracking down on Skyline Rd. and La Honda Rd. Last weekend I saw 10-15 350Z's / Infiniti G35's pulled over in one group. They were looking for missing front plates, window tints, loud exhaust etc.
Be careful out there!

Bummer - I'll be out of town, or I'd join you (on arrival, anyway!)

Thanks for the "heads-up" I will be sure to pass this along.

I don't know any of our MINIs that have "missing front plates, window tints, or loud exhaust etc.

The license plate is going on tonight. One less thing to worry about.

Alice's Restaurant will be expecting us for a late lunch about 2PM. They will be putting us in the back room and deck. We should call Saturday morning once we have an exact count . I told them to expect 25 MINIs and 40 people. Looks like we could have a lot more. They will be serving off the lunch menu only.

Update on weather:
Santa Cruz H 67F L 45 Sunny

None of use are missing a front plate. It is in the boot where it belongs but it looks like a day to run with my snowplow plate up front and keep the windows down.

Hey all you Bay area MINIs/Minis, it may be weeks or months before we have another weekend like this (sunny, clear, dry, and 67F). You can always deal with the "honey-dos" next weekend when its pouring rain.

Get out and enjoy the twisty Santa Cruz Mountains while the "gettin' is good"! You will regret it if you don't.

I think we now have 28 cars signed up for all or part of this run! Maybe we will break 30 by Saturday morning.

WOW what a day... beautiful weather and fun roads... what a combination!
I don't thing we ever took an official count... it seems like cars just kept joining us throughout the day. I would guess somewhere between 28 and 35 cars.

Thank Howard for developing the run and thank you to both Kat & Howard for leading the group through the Santa Cruz Mountains.

again, what a day!
