Can one of you more knowledgable classic Mini owners tell me what amperage fuses are needed for the four fuse block? If they are all the same amperage - great. If not, I need to know what goes where.

According to Haynes, from the top down:
terminals 1 & 2: ign switch pos 2 = 35 Amp (stop rev lts, dir ind, rear window def)
terminals 3 & 4: Hot all the time: 25 Amp (horn headlight flasher, brake failure ckt)
terminals 5 & 6: ign pos 1 or 2: 25 Amp (heater blower, wipers, radio)
terminals 7 & 8: hot through light switch (15 Amp): side & tail lts, instr panel
