I was just on the tail of the dragon web site, looking at the 2007 calander of events, and discovered that an Audi club will be at the Dragon 4-6 May, 07.
For those who have not made hotel/motel reservations, now is the time

This means a lot more traffic, so please plan ahead and be safe

I have no idea where they are stay...the only people besides MINI owners staying at Fontana are about five Corvette owners who always come the same weekend we are there. Regardless there are lots of great roads in the area to drive...the Dragon being but one of them

how large is the audi club? does it say that? cause that could be 10 cars, or 100 cars...

 

Unless they booked their reservations a year in advance, they probably aren't staying anywhere near the dragon. . . . .

 

I might be there in a 390 awhp Audi A4 instead of my MCS...

 

Per their website they are staying in Alcoa, TN, which is on the north end of the Dragon, just a little north of Maryville. (about 1.5 hours from Fontana)

 

Driving the speed limit, I would say Alcoa is about 45 minutes from Fontana.
