It's a busy weekend planned.
We have ALTA coming to help do pulley installs, and plenty of other mods.

An interesting observation:
We have an event every other weekend on average--I haven't even attended all of them. From what I've seen and heard, they are all filled to capacity. The monthly meetings have outgrown their unsuspecting restaurant hosts two years running. Rassmussen (like many other MINI dealers) can't keep up with demand. The new MINI brand is 5 years old.
Portland and Oregon as a whole, is a hotbed of MINI fanaticism.
Thank you "MINIacs"!!

Just added some of the updated event happenings to the calendar. Take note! A new tech event with GPI/ ALTA, a fall tour to Toppenish, and a fall tech event with MINI-Madness...
The events calendar is packed with fun stuff... come on out to an event! For more info just PM me or email communications@pdxmini.org

I must be dense. I've looked here and on both the home page and the activities page of the PDX website and I can't find any mention of these new additions. Please point me in the proper direction. Thanks.

hope that helps!

Oh hell, just park your mini in some random parking lot early on a saturday morning and wait, you'll have an event in no time...

The MINI-Madness event has been in the works for some time, but not yet set in concrete. Flyers for all will be available soon. You're ahead of the knowledge curve by coming here!

A lot of people came up and looked at my car and I was able to look more closely at the first-generation models. It was a pleasant exchange.
Have fun on your Crater Lake run.

Crater Lake run was great! Sorry I didn't get back to you or this thread before that. I have lots of update content to send out, but first I have to get it togther!
It was great to meet you as well! Thanks for making time for us and doing the drive to Winchester Bay. That was a fun tour, despite the weather not holding up for all of it.
PM me your email if you like and I'll be happy to send you the next club update or so in the meantime before you join. To be honest, wait until at least october to join and your due will be good for 08 as well. Cheers!

After seeing some of the cutting comments from certain NAM members about the R56 when it came out, I appreciated the warm welcome you folks gave me that day over at Winchester Bay.

I had a blast on the Crater Lake run with the PDX MINI crew!!!
They were all very friendly and cool, lots of them loved my R56.
I look forward to hanging out with them soon again.
I think you need to sign on and join us!
I'm glad you had a good time. They are a good group of folks. I do plan on joining up with them next quarter and I think they have at least a couple of Roseburg area members.

I'm coordinating the planning, and the events crew is handling the RSVP's.
I'm still in discussions with Gran Prix Imports regarding their plans for the event. It should be wrapped up in a couple days and info will be available!
I'm sure a pulley install can be planned for you :-)

Thanks. I'll keep an eye out for the update. I figured it all went out during the mayhem of the last few weeks and I missed it.
I've pretty much been waiting for that pulley since I started thinking about trading my cooper for an S three years ago
