I'm considering getting the M7 ram air scoop. I got a quote from Chad at Detroit Tuned to paint it. He said it would be about $75.00. But I'd be buying the scoop from him so maybe that is a low price.

Rick, I paid $50 to have my mirror caps painted liquid yellow. The place was on Industrial (sorry, Dean Martin) down near Palace Station. I can try to find their contact info if you want.

I wanted a matte black, so Peter at M7 (I got their "Extreme" scoop) recommended Dupli-color's bed liner black. It comes out cool. It is almost a satin finish and has a sort of even bumpy texture. I like the way it came out.

Black probably isn't the way Rick's going to go. His car is Electric Blue, and I don't know if black would look right.

yeah, black just won't do, but it would be my color of choice. i'm going to need electric blue to match everything else, including the roof.

Bumpy texture? I would be careful with that. It can either improve, or disrupt you air flow.

Of course I am being facetious.
