Does anyone know when the spring drive is gonna be this year? I know that on the CMMC website it said that it was on March 11th...is this for sure or is it just tentative? Steve? id like to know cause march is a busy month for me and i want to make my plans so i can go on the drive. Thanks!

 

The date March 11th for sure.

Details are mostly worked out, but I cannot divulge them at this point.

The drive will be a morning event, capped off with a group lunch, giving us all time to enjoy that 1st day of long sun, 1st day of Day Light Saving, sunset 9pm. If you come, we'll even get a cake, maybe Steve could bake a MINI for you.

 

we'll see, i may have a party at my friends school in indiana on saturday night, but ill try and push it to friday so i can make it to the event.

 

Aww c'mon... I ran the Starved Rock run on the SO's b'day... we had a blast. This drive should be a good one

 

And I'm still waiting for a piece of the cake you brought ;-)

 

If i can push back the party from saturday to friday and am not feeling sick or anything from the night before, ill come. as long as i get cake, lol. jist kidding. but we have to go somewhere where i can buy myself a beer.

 

I'll bring the cake and buy you a beer.. you're legal right??? Maybe instead of cake we'll have to get sliders for you???

hey, that's my mom's birthday too! she's over 21, however...

with that said, i won't be able to make it. i think mom would be sad if i ditched her on her day.

What an awesome day for a drive!

Thanks Dustin/Steve and everyone else involved in the planning and execution of this drive. Also, what a treat to be joined by the Milwaukee MINIs (thanks Theresa) at the 1st rest stop at the Jelly Belly Factory. After the tour, we cruised over for lunch which ended the day.



I'm not sure if I've ever seen more MINI enthusiats at a local event. Great turnout, perfect weather, Sheridan Rd was a treat! By unofficial count, we had 60+ MINIs (including a classic and a GP) and 75+ MINI friends (the room held 75 and I was in the overflow room )
