I was leaning away from the Magnaflow, but after hearing that I think I'm sold. Sounds awesome.

So you were faster than the GP?

You can't go wrong with Magnaflow!

Justintime, great sound!

Are you running an S bonnet on your Cooper?

(and tell your cameraman to have less caffeine before he shoots the next video!)

wow that sounds sweet. makes me want to take the resonator out of mine, as i think it sounds much cleaner

did you just chop it out and weld/slip on another pipe and get it reflanged?

I personally didnt trust my tachy welding skills on such thin metal.. but yes, just cut out the resonator and welded in a new pipe 2 1/4. the cheap metal doesn't sound good cold but when it warms up

While the videos are nice I prefer to hear the magnaflow in perosn

The wider the angle of the lens (the further zoomed out you are), especially below 50mm, a normal field of vision, the greater the appearance of speed toward or away from the camera.

Zip

Ib4tl....
I'm not too sure if it's applicable without a posted speed or a picture of the speedo...
In before thread lock...meaning it looks like street racing.

besides only a fool would race a GP with a MC. You might as well drag race a shelby. It's just for sound. Besides...didn't that look like an abandoned runway strip...with a random church in it? so no posted limit right?

well the whole road is abandoned.. its actually a bunch of warehouses out in the middle of nowhere. and we didnt run to really race just for sound and to see how much faster the gp is than a mini

Yeah, a 'race' would imply that there was some doubt as to which vehicle was faster.

Do you find the Magnaflow to be drone at highway speeds? between 60 and 80?

long answer: i get a bit of drone at about 65-75 it is only bad if the throttle is closed eg coasting if it is about 10-15% then it isn't really noticiable if you have the radio on. if the weather is good i just drive with the a/c off and the windows down and get the good kind of exhaust sounds

short answer: yes there is some drone with this exhaust

is there really a difference in sound with the ac on or are you just commenting because you only drive with your windows down when you don't need ac?
