Well I figured I had to post given my previous comments in weeks past.

Your Bears straight up kicked my Saints' ****. Period. I'm not about to begin to make excuses after that performance.

That said I'll be rooting for whomever wins the AFC and I look forward to a rematch next season.

Good luck and have fun celebrating.

Matt

Thanks for the vote of confidence Matt

The momentum was clearly with the Saints after the Bush TD... but the safety changed everything. You could almost feel the field tilting in favor of the Bears after that play.

So far it looks like it's gonna be the Pats... rematch from Super Bowl XX ??

Well the Colts pulled it off. Man it was awesome to see Peyton finally make it.

Um, GO COLTS! lol

Seriously though, if your defense plays in the Super Bowl the way they played today...you got it.

That was a great game!!! I really wanted to see Peyton get to the Super Bowl... FINALLY!!! (my brother is a transplant Pats fan...) It should be a good game. I'm still suprised the Pats didn't run the ball more. What happened to Dillion?? It only took 21 years for the Bears to make the trip again... should be a good game

Ah we have Uno's down here, not the best, but still deep dish. How about something from SuperDog?

Oh, and GO COLTS!

I had offered beer... If you would like to consider other choices, let me know and I will see what we can work out. I was just thinking that beer is easier to transport and store. I was considering a mix from Three Floyds, Upland, and Oaken Barrel.

Careful though, don't they drink a lot of Old Style up in Chicago ? That wouldn't be much of a trade.

The name of the restaurant might be Uno's, but that's not Uno's pizza. They have a recipe that they use at Uno's and Due's downtown, and something entirely different (and much worse) for the rest of the country.

This is my theory as to why the rest of the country hates Chicago-style pizza. They think that's it.

My sister (bless her Chicago heart!!) sent us a frozen Lou M's pizza for Christmas (yum, yum). It came with a "catalog" of much-missed Chicago food (both my wife and I are Chicago-area transplants) from an outfit called "A Taste of Chicago". They had pizza, hot dog kits (including sport peppers), italian beef with all the stuff, and cheese cake. If it weren't so expensive, I would gain a ton just from the catalog items!

I sure wish I could get a good hot dog around here! In Maine, they dye them a bright, shocking red that even stains the bun!

I would agree, I have eaten at the Uno just west of Michigan Street, which should be in no way compared to what we have. To start with, you can actually walk into our Uno's and get a table . And it definetly has a processed feel to it. I wonder if it is a franchise?

Since this has now become a pizza thread I'm a Giordano's fan myself... I end up hitting the one at Oakbrook on my way out of town. I think I have some other places I'll have to try the next time I'm up there... wait that'll be for the autoshow in February!

Go Colts!

I'll second the chain Uno's vs. the real Uno's/Due's - it's not even close. I go in to Due's either to eat there or to see Eddie for my takeout fix every few weeks or so...

OK- So are we going to have a wager... or are the Bears fans concerned that either Chicago doesn't have anything worth betting or Chicago doesn't have a chance against Indy? I still have two cases if fine Indiana microbrews (Oaken Barrel, 3 Floyds & Uplands) on the block with guaranteed delivery at the Dragon in May, but I would like to know what MINICCI is going to get when the Colts win

GO COLTS!

Since no one seemed open to it a few weeks ago, when I started this, I have not made any plans. Maybe next year.

Go Bears!

Great game... both teams played well. I guess I don't need to bring any extra beer to the Dragon, but I will lift a glass of fine Indiana brew to da Bears at the brewswap. Paid more attention to this Superbowl than any since 1984. Even made some money from my father in-law born and bred in Chicagoland.
