Has anyone installed or had installed the Mini Fini SportLink? I am really interested in the spare tire rack but the dealer ship charges almost $400 for installation. Is there a cheaper place to have it done (I will not attempt this myself) 2004 Cooper S Thanks!

 

I would guess a mechanic would have the know-how and tools to accomplish such a thing.

You could try Nu Way. They do all the body work for Rasmussen MINI. I had some minor work done there and they did great work. A few of the people that work there also own MINI's.

The SportLink does require some cutting into the bumper cover. I wouldn't do that type of work myself. To have it look right, I would pay a shop to do it.

I have seen a few other MINI's in town that have the SportLink but have no idea where they got them installed.

 

NuWay is a good spot. They do great work.
