new aftermarket exhaust on 2006 mini cooper S convertible creates intolerable vibration at about 3200 rpm. the problem seems to be the expansion travel of the exhaust pipes when hot (moves 1/2 to 3/4 inches to the rear) which exceeds the travel allowance of the stock exhaust hangers. Has anyone had this problem or have a suggested cure?
