there are couple of threads about the 04 models and how the production date's changes the value of the car.
I'm thinking to getting a 04 model instead of 03.
How many people would like to change their mind from a 03 to 04?

i also am considering the '04 over the '03. i was worried a lot about the problems (coolant, windsheild, etc.) so wanted to wait until the '04's for all the problems to be fixed. i hear we can start ordering the '04's already but will have to wait until october for delivery. the wait will be painful...

 

I can see many reasons for wanting to wait for the 04's, but waiting for major fixes is not one of them. MIINI has either corrected or attempted to correct these issues.
