Are you sure? FlowSource's "package" deal includes a cleaning kit and an extra filter. Unless I'm mistaken, it's not a package that comes boxed from aFe, it's a FlowSource-unique kit.

I have one and it fits my '02, but I know the '05-06s have a different shape stock airbox so I suppose there might be different models.....maybe.

They have two packages available. One for the 02-04 Coopers and one for the 05-06 Coopers.

We've got an aFe on our monster Cooper test mule - it's awesome, IMHO.

The only thing I don't understand about there filter kits is why the replacement filter. Like the K&N filters, you clean the filter when it gets dirty.Hens the need to buy replacement filters.

Because while you are cleaning the filter and re-oiling, you can't drive the car, so if you had an extra filter, you can always have one clean, and swap them.

That makes complete sense. When I clean my K&N drop in filter, I have to use a stock paper filter while the K&N is drying, not like it takes long. It is nice to have a backup on hand.

I just wanted to chime in and say that I got mine, and it's great. The sound matches the feel of being behind the wheel, the throttle response is better, low end torque feels better, and the butt dyno gives me an indication of a little more power! Now, if I could just keep my foot out of the gas....

I've had an aFe system on my car for over 3 years, multiple cleanings, and it is great....love the sound, but I have the old Moss Intake pipe as well. I think that package deal seems decent, and reasonable pricing as well.

I've had the kit installed for a few months. It sounds great. I like having the extra filter, because with the stock air box removed, just slipping in the paper filter for a few hours is not an option.

I like it. I think it significantly changed the sound of my Cooper, especially when romp'n on it.
