MCS GP 18 inch wheels, which ones are they?

What is the designation of the wheels that are on the new MCS GP? I think they look amazing. However, I personally do not want 18" wheels and was wondering if there is anything out there that looks like them but in 17"

Thanks,
-k

I really don't think they will have an "R" designation for them. I would guess "GP Wheels". You would have to have a GP VIN anyhow. I haven't bothered to see if anyone has wheels similar to those, but I don't see why someone wouldn't. Good luck

Check out the knock-off GP wheels on the UK ebay site. Don't know if they will ship overseas.

Wow, those 17 inch ones are the EXACT ones I was hopeing for. They look exactly like the 18inch but are in the size I want. They are pretty expensive though for a knockoff. Hopefully I can get them in the USA somehow.

edit... Actually now that I look closer they are not that expensive. Those prices are with tires.
Thanks,
K

Per the MINI2 FAQ on Wheels and Tires (spelled tyres in the UK), the GP wheel is known as the R107.

Good luck getting any OEM ones though - MINI made sure to keep them quite exclusive to GPs. If you don't mind imitations, the 17" knock-offs suggested by cooperSharon are probably your best bet. I hope they are even lighter than the OEM ones (which are only 19.8 lbs according to the MINI2 FAQ).
