I think my wife ordered mine from Sterling MINI. I think they had the best price we could find. I want to say it was $325.00, but I'm not sure.

Me too...

I also ordered mine thru Morristown for $300, I've never seen a better price for a new OEM deflector.

Okay, I think I can win this competition...I got mine for $285 on Ebay through Morristown Mini (plus $10 for shipping...although I paid them an extra $10 for 2nd day service). This was a regular windscreen and not a checkered windscreen.

Morristown Mini @ $300 plus shipping. Sometimes they start their e-bay prices at $285 but they are usually bid up.

there's only the two kinds for now: checkered and not checkered

You got it for free?? considering how much it retails, that's a deal

it only included 150 or so cars (all drop tops I believe) that were ordered around the end of July or early August and supposed to be delivered in September. I was one of the unlucky 150 whos car sat at port for 2 months while Mini figured out what to do and how to cover their ***... for the inconvenience I got an extra year of full warranty and mantainence, the wind screen and a $250 mini bucks gift certificate (which is supposed to come in the mail)

I may end up selling my regular black windscreen. If someone is interested they can contact me. I'm very happy with it, but I'm getting a checkered windscreen to match my revamped interior. I've only taken it out two or three times.

Thanks to everyone who inquired about the windscreen I offered for sale, but I have sold it. It will be going out to the new owner first thing tomorrow!

My2ndMini...

Well, perhaps I spoke too quickly! I guess I should have said my SOON to be revamped interior. Actually, I have been stockpiling parts from Ebay. I have all the carbon fiber parts for the interior as well as JCW floor mats for my 06 Mini Cooper S Cabrio. As you probably know, the JCW floor mats are an exact match for the checkered windscreen. I'll try to post pictures once everything is in place. Hopefully it will be ready early next year. Unfortunately I have to jump over the high hurdle of paying for my JCW Kit install (15 hours of labor...ARGHHH!!! ).
