I'm interested in these myself, too. So I'm looking for responses along with you.

I have them. I like them. I use them for AutoX. What else would you like to know?

I use 16x7.5 for daily driving with 225/45's (have gone as large as 225/50). And 15x7 for track days and autocross. And sometimes throw my drag slicks on them.

I currently have the 15x7's (silver) for my track tires. I love the looks, they seem to be strong, and although they are not the lightest wheels out there, they are much lighter than my stock s-lites. Oh yeah, I like the price too!
I'm actually starting to look for another set of these in 15x7 but with the white finish, to use as my summer wheels.

I had them on my previous bmw for 3 years , daily driven wheels and some autox . Very light , cheap and strong , so go for them.

considering how light these rims are (14-15lbs) for under 200 bucks a rim - these are a great value.

205/50/16. I ran Dunlap F109s on them last year. They were very sticky, and pretty cheap (I think around $50 each thru TireRack).
Love the Kosei K-1's!

Good and cheap. Not the lightest, not the strongest, but cheap.
Go to a BMWCCA track event and you'll notice that maybe half the cars have the old K1-racing wheels. A growing number of the new K1-TS wheels, too. At least around here.

The old school ones are on a large percentage of Spec Miatas in the SCCA.

I have two sets. Some are flawed and have poor castings. Take too much weight to balance on several of them.
I since went with the Rota Subzero. Much, much better wheel that cost less.

I've got the 16"-7.5" for street AutoX and enjoy the lite weight. I really need to check and re-torque, especially the front wheels during track days.

is that because the paint is flaking off in the lug holes? if so,
how about just removing the flakes completely with a dremel tool?
