R50/53 Exhaust burble on a 2003 MCS?
Exhaust burble on a 2003 MCS?
I bought a second hand 2003 MCS and noticed that it has an exhaust burble when shifting from 1st, 2nd, or 3rd (possibly higher but have not paid attention to higher gears).
I read that this sound was engineered in the 2005 models but was wondering if its something that has possibly been retrofit to my MCS with a simple ECU update?
Thanks,
k

Yup, it's completly normal, but like you said, they changed the ECU around in 05'+ to make it burble even more. The 02'-04's do it to some degree, but I can only hear mine when the doors are open.
