More room for photos for 6th gear (heads)...
hi all, one thing I'm running into is that I've used all my gallery space, so I have to delete photos from past threads, how tos and the like to make room. While I know that everyone wants more space, is there a way to increase the allocation for those that have earned the privalage or those that post reference material (how tos and product photos) so that we don't have to retire what could be helpfull?
I hate to suggest this because of the work that it would take, but maybe a "how to" area like the reviews, where the photos don't count agains the total? If you need moderation help there, I'd be happy to volenteer.

I'll be putting a program in place in the next few weeks that will allow you to have a larger space allocation for your gallery. That said if there are images being used for a how-to I could set up a gallery that would (nightly) move the file to another user account so it wouldn't consume your gallery space long-term. I'm currently doing this with the 2007 NAM Calendar Photo Contest gallery.

I'm pretty much filled up too...
also, it would be nice if there were a way to just lower the resolution of the photos that are already there without screwing up the links so one could free space and not screw up past threads...

Try a free picture hosting site like www.photobox.co.uk once loaded select the photo you want, right click and select properties, copy and paste the URL into NAM.
