I have been thinking of putting the 3m paint protection coverings on my MINI
has anyone dealt with this mod? I see the Paint Protector vendor in the list, looks like a good Idea. Anyone worked with this stuff? I have a custom mod bumper, is it hard to figure the cut on the bulk?

 

IMO it's the best mod you can make (although results vary depending on the color of your MINI. I have PW and it's essentially invisible from any further than a foot away). No worries about rock chips. But definitely find a competent installer; I'd recommend finding your "region" in the regional forums and asking around. One or two places will stand out in the recommendations you get. That's how I found mine.

But really, worth every penny.
