sad-ish day

whats the saddest moment youve had with your mini, and i mean personally with your mini, not like a girl turned me down in it.

id go for mine being tonight, im heading out for the weekend, and when i leave i put the mini under a car cover, and its so sad to do in away (i mena not like im crying or osmehthing, butits a disheartening moment)

its like when i put the cover on i know itll be as safe as it cna be outside from the elements, but it means i wont be driving her for a couple days, plus when you pull it over the last piece of the body, for me usually the headlights, somehting abotu seeing the light get covered just adds some dishearten-ment (is that even a word?)

I traded in my first MINI.. and the saddest moment was when they gave her back to me for a night.... I cried when I had to return her... problems and all.

With the current MINI... it was attacking a Ford Explorer in her only 3 days after I got her... (but it all turned out for the best- got great paint and a great SO out of the deal )

My saddest moment was when I went outside after the hurricane only to find that every one of my neighbors roof shingles had flown off their roof and beat the **** out of my mini.

Or there was the time when someone keyed the drivers door.

Or when my wife called to tell me about the accident.

Or the other time, 2 weeks later, my wife called to tell me about the accident.

Driving home from my final day at the chiropractic office. Knowing that loosing that job meant I would loose MIB as we couldn't afford it anymore as I was the only one working.

Then MrsDiff hit me with the divorce word. I left that night per her and her parents wishes. I gave her MIB and took our mini-van.

I missed MIB today as frost was all over the winshield and I also missed the heated seats.

Only one really sad moment...when I watched it leave off to be checked over as a trade-in on another MINI. As it drove off, my Cooper's little single exhaust tip was gleaming...it just seemed so sad. I knew then that I could not bear to trade it in....and didn't. We've been best buds ever since.

The day I drove Floobie into a mountainside on a MINI run. I had gut wrenching pains knowing that I damaged my pride and joy. I had 5 hours to take everything all in as I waited for the tow truck...all the treasured memories came flashing back like the first time I saw Floobie, all shiny and brimming with pizzazz, at the dealership.

A month later, more sadness...my insurance company deemed Floobie as a totalled loss.

The day my SA came up to me and said "something happened we need you to come take a look at this..."

It was a lonely week without my MINI but instead the dealer's MINI

When my wife backed into the passenger side. I was standing nearby and heard a giant can crushing sound. I'm still waiting for her to cough up the $ to fix it.

like when I went to the party store on saturday and walked back to my car and found a nickel-sized ding right by the fuel door? yeah, that hurt.

or today when the dent repair guy told me that he could only take out 95% of the ding because the metal plate that holds the fuel door hinge was in the way? i think this one hurt more because my MINI just turned two months old and he's no longer 100% perfect. :(

Leaving Junior...

...in the Airport parking lot for a week, knowing that I was going to be driving a rental...

I felt like I was being unfaithful...

A couple of days after picking up my beautiful Pearl, I had to leave her with my mom for the week, and I had to drive my old car. It was love at first sight and we had to separated only after a few days of being together.

wow I really need a girlfriend

Today, when I found out when the plumber that's been working in our office backed into it. He left a note and I've talked to his boss (who may not want to report it to his insurance because his insurance rate may go up ) and wasn't going to give me his insurance info. until a police asked for it. I've had the car for less than a month and it only has 1600 miles on it and now the back bumper, boot, left light area is all dinged

I'm going to go through my insurance and it will be fixed but I know that it will never be the same. Poor Midori!
