Anyone have any specs for the H/K audio system?

Needed:

1) channel specs (Input and Output wattage)

2) pin outs for all the connectors

3) wattage rating for each of the 8 speakers.

The entire system is rumored at 320 Watts, but I need a little more of a breakdown than that. Thanks!

I'm guessing that 320watts is not RMS (peak). And given that it's a 4 channel system that would be a 4x80 amp. Doubt the speakers are better than that (80watt).

I took mine apart, speakers are rated 15W for the fronts (sais so on the magnet), 25W for the back ( i think). 4 Ohms that would make it ~100 Wt system. But, in my opinion it still rocks. It's not the whattage, it's the sensetivity.

phobol's got it right; the wattage is not very useful without a sensitivity plot (preferably at multiple amplitudes ). Most loudspeakers have an conversion efficiency of only a few percentage! In actual acoustic output, 1 Watt is 120dB!

Dominic: I haven't seen any specs beyond the mysterious "320watts", which doesn't mean a THING!

Cheers,
Ryan

Nothing available from Harman Audio. They tried sending me to BMW's OEM division. We allllll know how BMW doesn't like to share information.

Called ASKMINI and talked to a guy. Here's all he could tell me:

The DSP is:
* a 10 channel discrete direct drive
* 8x40watts
* max 60 rms true power
* 100W peak to peak power

That's all I could find...
