I think you can get full access to the ipod. The description mentions text display of the song name, artist and genre. Plus, the center control **** on the headunit will probably let you have full control.

 

Wait for the page to load then click on "DISCOVER THEM NOW"

On the next page look at the bottom and click on > ACCESSORIES

On the next page click on > GENUINE MINI ACCESSORIES

On the next page click on any of the images on the left hand side. Before you click make certain the accessory is "active" (i.e. surrounded by a white border). You may need to wait for the details to load depending on your network speed.

Geez, my wife is going to kill me. Her MC doesn't have the iPod adapter, though she has an iPod. I might have to get an iPod just for the new car!

 

I got an ipod.... darn, now it looks like i got the get another new mini to accessorise my ipod...

 

Some advancements i noticed,

Ipod navigation through the Mini Joystick, Radio Boost CD or the Multifuncion steeringwheel. *sweet*
Artist and tracknames shown on display (No need for Ice) *SWEET*

two New roof graphics *MINI* and Heliport

Door handles in Union Jack or Chequered designs

 

I love the door handles... Don't assume the IPod adaptor could be retrofitted to R53's...

 

Dang....that stuff is so cool!!!! I'm dizzy!!! In '08 I'm considering moving to a CR/W Cooper that should be able to make great use of all these you-ification options!! Wow...can't wait!!

 

I want a MC with luxury options to spoil my daily drive. Dont need an MCS, i have a highly modded GTI for speed.
