Is that the stock grille or an Aerokit version? I think losing the horizontal bars is a good idea, but what we don't need is more of that awful honeycomb black plastic. The '07 will look sweet with an M7 Ultimate Grille.

Aside from what I assume must be wires for a battery charger, under the bonnet looks very uncluttered for having a turbo stuffed in there - almost "pretty." I like the MINI badge much better than the simple sticker on the current engine. Overall I like it!

I also see they moved the washer fluid reservoir. I wonder if it holds any larger volume? I actually liked it over the fender well, but I'm sure this will work.

Thanks for the pics!

Looks pretty good, over all... The rear tail lamps look kinda 'fat' to me.

I'm not a huge fan of the larger fender flares, either. I'd be painting those ASAP, but I swing that way already...

By the way, JCW210....if you hear anything out there about Oxygen Blue I'd love to know. Cooper shots are always welcome, too!

Thanks for the pics!

Can't wait to see some MINI's in something other than Yellow or Blue. BTW, is the blue that's pictured the Lightning Blue or the Laser Blue?

So far, I have to say that I'm very much impressed with the R56. I think it will do just fine and after the dust settles Mini owners will come to embrace it and praise it as they have done for the R53.

Yup, once drivers experience all that usable torque so broad across the RPM curve it will be heartily embraced.

Great pics. Thanks for sharing. Not sure how I feel about it yet. I need to keep looking. The areo kit looks similar to the Oncari.

I think it looks better in the amateur pics versus the official pics.

That means it will look even better in person.

I can't get over the big brace in the front. Set lights and mesh grill.
I like the BMW coil per spark, finally..

I'd bet that you are right about the mellow yellow having the (now JCW) aero kit. The area surrounding the fog lights don't match the Cooper or MCS photos. The honeycomb plastic around the fogs follows the design lauguage of the current aero kit (ex: http://www.mini2.com/images/paris_th...currentPic=103).

It looks like they finally put a screen inside the (now non-functional) hood scoop.....
