Good job guys. Craig, Graeme, and Tony, nice job on Trophy's. Wish I could've made it this year. I hope all of you will be running G-stock again next year? I should be at least able to do the Pro finale and if possible, Nationals.

I'd like to congratulate and thank Craig and Graeme for a great season and very good results. The entire team deserves credit. We could not ask for better drivers and friends.

One of the reasons we did so well was the intense competetion amongst GS this year. The whole class has become so competitive we really had to work hard to give Craig his first National Championship - I am sure more will follow. Special congrats to Brianne - I almost regretting putting my shocks on her car - she is so fast.

We really must thank all our sponsors and supporters

We have exciting plans for a Mini Superteam for 2007 - stay tuned to NAM for details.

Damn, I forgot Hoosier tires. They should be top of the list.

Jeff Spier, Phil and the crew in the purple shirts absolutely rock. After losing the ProSolo championship (congrats GH Sharp) by 1 point, we knew we had to make a major change to the car. Not the sort of thing to attempt a few days before the biggest event of the season.

With encouragement from Jeff and his team at Hoosier we made a radical change and we feel the results speak for themselves.

Thanks Jeff - you guys rock

Grant

I know I said it before but congrats to you and Graeme as well, its your championship just as much as it is mine. A 100% team effort was needed to pull it off from start to beyond the finish. There are so many variables that worked perfectly within the team the last 2 days, its truley amazing. Anyway, it was just an exceptional experience that I'll never forget.

Also, Your also spot on when you say Hoosier came through huge for us, without their support, it would not have happened. :-)

To elaborate on the team effort, each of the 2 days, Graeme would come back and relay his feedback on how the car was reacting on the new setup, Grant was able to adjust setup according to Graeme's feeback before even my first run on both days. His assessment and Grants adjustment inputs were perfect. EVERY single one of my 6 runs that I made, the car was 100% perfect. If I had been driving without Graeme or without Grant applying the tuning, there would be no championship. So, when I say it was a team effort, I actually truley mean it and truley believe that without one or both of them, there is no way it would have happened.

So, thanks a bunch Grant and Graeme, even if you do talk a bit funny

Craig

Thanks!

If the BMW's get moved, we'll be in STX/DSP/GS between my car and Grant's.

See you in Denver!

Craig

Great job guys.. just have one question... How or why? did you let the Nissan sneak into the Top Ten. What did he have it painted up as a counterfit and you guys didnt notice.

P.S. Yes im joking. But if he wasnt in there then it would have been a 1-10 sweep. Great for reporting but would make you wonder if anything else drove in the G-Stock class for the event

So does this mean that the Civic Si is nowhere near as quick as the MCS or has there not been enough time to develop it.

Craig,
Back at ya. Without you asking about the car, I would just have gone out and driven it how it was without really thinking about what we needed to do to make it better. Then of course you have Grant who really knew how to interpret our feedback and tweek the car for us. Thanks Grant!

I am really looking forward to next year. Maybe I'll start driving the car like I should instead of relying on my old mid-engine RWD instincts. Seeing you toss the car through the slaloms has really given me some great insights into how these cars need to be driven to be really fast.

Thanks to Team Built-By-Bones and Oasis Tan

Oh yeah, just one last thing. It's YOU guys that have the accent, not Grant and I

Graeme

I thought G-Stock did not allow race tires. What Kumho and Hoosier tires are being used?

DOT approved tires. They have a 40 tread wear rating I think. They are basically race tires with two small 4/32" grooves all the way around. I'd say they are 1-1.5 seconds quicker than the absolute best of the "Real" street tires such as the Yokohama Neova's.
