Hey,
I have been wanting to go on many rally's since I have gotten my MINI. I just want to know why we never have barely had any. I have been on a few, but I think that we need more to keep me busy, PLEASE.

well, last time I got motivated for a rally it dumped 32" of snow in the front yard.

The mountain roads just haven't been predictably good. A combination of snow, ice, and sand on the less traveled stuff.

That time is rapidly changing. If anyone wants to PLAN a rally, let me know and I'll do what I can to either help myself, or find others who are like minded. Also, ideas for where to go on rallies are appreciated.

Dave

If one ever does get planned, please advertise it well enough on MCO so all of the CO MINI's can show up, because I'm sure like me they are all ready.

All MINI5280 members get e-mail notification of our events. Most of the rallies get publicized on MCO, but some stuff just goes out on the e-mails.

Like I said, if anyone wants to plan one, or has suggestions for where to go, please post.

This weekend is probably bad to organize a rally for, because of autocross on both Saturday (BMWCCA) and Sunday (SCCA).

Anyone want to have a rally on the 19th? I'll be out in L.A. at an SCMM event that day, but that shouldn't mean you guys should wait to plan one.

MOTR has a drive on the 19th starting at 10 am at the Southmoor Park and Ride (Hampden and 125 by the Continental Theater) that we could all join.

For those of you who do not know Mini of the Rockies (MOTR) is the classic Mini club here in CO and they seem very amiable towards "us newbies."

Do we have to sign up, or tell MOTR that we are coming?

I did not get that impression when they were discussing it at their meeting. Unfortunately I have since learned that I have to work that day  :???: so I will not make it.

I have yet to go on any of their drives but at the meetings the split has been about 1/3 new. There were 4 new and 9 classic and several of the long time members have gotten new ones or are thinking about getting one.
