You want the price. Call classic parts dept, one of the NAM vendors, they will give you a good discount

BTW, I dont think you can just get the springs, they come with the shocks as well.

You can buy springs seperately. Many of us have. As I think someone mentioned earlier you need to provide VIN so they see what options your car had and supply the appropriate spring They're $315 from Morristown Mini including shipping

315?? Must be good haha. Thats more than I will pay for springs alone considering the price difference in aftermarket springs

I paid $300 for JCW springs and $450 for JCW struts. Many aftermarket spring+strut combos will usually be in the $800-$900 range, so the JCW suspension isn't a bad deal. I bought them separately also.

I just ordered JCW springs for my '06 Cooper from Classic- about $85 per corner as I recall - I'm going to try them with Koni FSDs.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking - btw, anyone else notice that despite all the original "you can't use Koni FSDs with lowering springs" admonishments, Koni is now offering packages of FSDs & Eibach prokits (about a 1" drop) through Tire Rack?

I am told that they dropt the car approximately one-half inch. I'll let you know exactly what they do to mine when I get them on.

My JCW springs did drop by about half inch or 10mm or about a knuckle's worth or about... It's very slight but does add a nice aesthetic touch without over doing the slammed to the ground look. I'll have to post a pic later today.

I can confirm that the ride height drops by 10mm. Not much, but just enough to improve the aesthetics. But it's not the look that's as important as the transformation in the cars handling and ride. There is less understeer and the car tucks into the corners and holds the line with ease. There is also less body roll in the corners. If your'e thinking that these handling improvements translate into a firmer ride then you would be wrong. The car rides the bumps with less jolting and jarring - it's as if the car has grown up. It's amazing.

I just read a comment from someone who test drove a GP. He said he was expecting the ride to be really harsh on 18" 40 profile run-flats. He couldn't believe how well it road over the bumps. Reason - JCW shocks and springs.

I paid my MINI dealer $1,250 for the shocks and springs installed.

I've been looking for a used set of JCW springs and even posted in the market place and someone posted this -

"Just to be sure you already know, JCW springs don't come with the JCW package, even from the factory. The springs come only as part of the JCW suspension package available only from the dealer or other aftermarket companies. So to be clear either to you or a potential seller, you're not looking for springs off just any JCW."

Do "JCW" springs have any unique markings? or color? How does one identify them?

Ditto on the 10mm drop. With the 18" JCW rims it looks really nice.....pricey, but what you get in handling and stability is worth it to me. Yeah, my car has grown-up but it rides pretty rough, especially in my subdivision. I think with non-run flats, it will improve; at least I'm hoping it will. As for the look, it's super cool seeing the red coils. That's the only thing you'll notice. It looks really good with the JCW brake calipers!! I'm happy with it, anyway.

FWIW, my JCW springs have the same wire diameter as my stock springs and the outside coil diameter is a couple mm smaller than stock with a shorter wire length as well. I wonder where the the increased rate comes from?
