New or repaired wheel?
New or repaired wheel?
One of the local tire shops chipped one of my silver V-spoke wheels.
He ordered a remanufactured wheel but the paint looked like it had a lot of “orange peal” in it, and the color looked slightly different. Does anyone know of a wheel repair shop that has a better/closer to OEM finish? Or should I try to get a new wheel?

Try www.wheelcollision.com I had a Chromed r-90 repaired there this spring and it came back great. They repaired a lip grind on outside and a slight bend on inside, then rechromed. The R-90 is a two piece wheel. It was not exactly cheap, but the old addage"You get what you pay for" comes to mind.
