I proudly display my Motoring ID in the "official position" in huge 2" white vinyl letters. I have never ever seen an ID on a Mini. Neither in any of the pictures here on NAM (unless it is a motoring ID specific thread) or in life. Maybe I should just take it off ?? Do you guys ever receive messages/have sent messages. ? It's still cool ...

 

I have only seen one other. I have had mine on for ~5 months, and have not received any contact relating to it.

 

I had mine on until recently when the letters came off when I was washing it. Cheapo office supply store letters. They lasted a while. I plan on getting it done in good vinyl on my new MINI. I have seen it displayed in unofficial spots, but never in the "official" spot on any other MINI but mine here. No msgs either way here. But LOTS of questions from people wondering why I had WHEE 272 on my back window.

 

I have mine on the back of Angel, It used to be in my sig too. I have seen them on cars during runs, but have never seen one on non-club MINIs but I am usually passing them at highway speeds so dont get the chance to look. I will keep mine on till it falls of or I decide to go with a theme on the back end.

 

Haha glad to see i'm not crazy. Yeah I do receive a lot of questions about my ID... I just says its a secret society among MINI owners.

 

I have mine on in an unofficial spot, in unofficial letters. Because I wanted my website in the "official" spot. Ive only had my car a month and nothing yet, But I did see another EB today that waved at me! (It was my first friendly mini encounter)

 

This may sound totally stupid....but what and how do I get an ID?

I've only seen one in person...personally, I think it's supid. There just arn't that many other MINI owners that would even know or care about it to be effective.

When I was at the Indy stop of MTTS, I did notice quiet a few with their motoring ID. Funny thing though, I noticed more Minis by their NAM signatures than anything else.
