KONI FSD's installed by Lucky Dog Garage

I just wanted to thank Lucky Dog Garage for installing my KONI FSD's. They also installed a Madness 15% Pulley and CAI. Their labor cost for all three installs combined beat the dealerships price by $600,(No exaggeration).Gotta love it! The FSD's make a huge difference with the friggin crappy roads I drive every day. Now I dont feel like I've have been beaten up when I arrive at my destination. The pulley and CAI install make the car feel much faster and smoother. I would highly suggest this combination to any daily driver who wants a little more power and a more comfortable ride. If you live in the MD/VA area, you might want to consider LDG for your next mod/service.

So how much was the install? Their pulley install fee is very reasonable and way to go but...

I remember being quoted around $300 just for some springs before...

Glad to hear Lucky Dog Garage is still around; you don't hear of them much.

Included are the dealership quotes, after dbl-checking the emails I received from them.

Here's the cost breakdown:

$630.00 KONI FSD's cost(purchased on MINI MANIA when they had a special)
$499.85 Installation of shocks (MINI Dealership was asking $672.00)
$265.00 MINI MADNESS 15% Red Pulley and Labor (dealer quoted $600.00,WTF!)
$299.00 MINI MADNESS CAI w/cowl MOD and install labor (dealer quoted $400.00)
$ 89.95 Four wheel alignment (Dealership quoted $199.00)

The Pulley and the CAI was purchased from LDG so the labor and part cost were already combined. Not sure what labor would be if you brought your own pulley and CAI.

Hope this helps. I got a lot of quotes from many of the area MINI tuner shops in VA and the surrounding areas and found that LDG was the cheapest cost. I will continue to go there when I want to do any "mechanics needed" MODs to my cooper.
