Bad weather, natural disasters, and power outage did not deter us from our appointed task.
Only 2 MINIs out of 97 determined and wet drivers. Hope to see more MINIs next time. More official dates to come. Stay tuned.

Next event on Jan 28th then more dates pending.
103 drivers. Nice weather despite the looming rain clouds.
Pretty good showing by the MINIs even though we had only four which equalled the number of Mitsubishi Evos including one or two MRs. Pretty mean looking cars, the Evos, not the MINIs.

We added another Chili Red MCS (welcome Robert M.)
He's hooked I think and itching to add a pulley upgrade so we may see more of him in SM class later.
He ran in S-lyte rims and runflats that were ... well... flat. Like 28 psi or something like that. So we pumped him up and he did pretty good for his first time out.
Mike W. says in April he will have his newly forged Demon fire breathing turbo MCS. Until then, he will have to settle for kicking butt in a stock MCS with Hoosier A6 215/40-16 tires.

The season is now over.
Yesterday weather was mostly good. Some winds and some light rain but only enough to worry us and not enough to cause any big dent in our pursuit of happiness.
If you think you can drive your MINI even better than any of us- and that is certainly possible now that we have some of very best MINIs 2005 to 2007 ever designed, please come and join us for the 2007 to 2008 season that starts in two weeks on April 8th.
Just bring your totally stock MC or MCS. Cabrios will do fine as well. Lots of sunscreen and a hat, register bright and early about 7am the gate opens. Most novice drivers will drive at the end of the day to make use of the instructors (they can't help until they have finished driving in the morning).
You'll need shoes and a valid driver's license.
2007 SCCA Solo rules are in effect
New helmet standards are in effect (Snell 95 or newer: M or SA2000/2005)
New fees are in effect: SCCA Member, $22, non-SCCA member is $30
All fees check only -- made out to SCCA Hawaii Region!! No Cash!!!
