When did the MCS get the new gears in the 6 speed

I actually have looked, but found 100's of posts and none had the info I wanted..

I have seen it 1000 times too but can not remember...
When did they change the gearing in the 6 speed for the MCS's??? I am pretty sure it was 04 or 05 but want to know for sure, I am looking to buy a newer MCS but want the closer gearing..

the 05 to 06 have the newer gearing and more HP. the 02 to 04 are longer gears and less HP. I am actually selling my 06 MCS with a few minor mods. I just need to get out of it. If interested let me know. Thanks and good luck. Spike

2005 and up have the new gear ratio.

I'll get my 05 tranny with LSD this Monday (hopefully). I'm sure I'll enjoy the closer ratio and quicker acceleration.

Yes I think ALL 05's had the newer lower gearing, but Limited Slip Differential only became available as of Jan builds. Trying to remember if there were any other changes as of Jan builds. I think so but am trying to remember what it was.
