Wow, that thing is slammed! Looking good! How much of a drop did you give it?

BTW, did you paint the chrome housing on the inside of the taillight? Or simply put vinyl on the outside to cover it up?

i believe its just over a 2.5" drop. it rides good....i have it set to the tightest street setting so, its not to bad. or maybe im just used to riding real stiff from the subaru and the gtis' (all slammed). i just have to watch where i drive alot more and i cant drive thru nyc...just on the henry hudson pkwy (its smooth). i will be raising it about an inch maybe more because i will be runnin my steelies so i dont mess up the show wheels.

i used black out tape for the lights. a temporary de-chroming solution until i get the altezzas (i know...altezzas eeewww!!!).

That doesn't bode well for me then. I'm currently as low as your car in the pics, and I'm installing the megans tomorrow to go lower . Trying to tuck tire on low profile 15 inch tires

Man your car looks so sweet!! PLEASE don't ruin it with Altezza's... To each their own but I think their ugly... Have you though of maybe tinting the entire taillight? Or even better (but requires *****), open up your taillight and paint just the chrome part black... Now that would look HAWTTT!!

Oh and, about raising your car up... nahhh if anything you could go a bit lower, 3" drops look good on the MINI... Come on you could be like a snow plow

Do as i did...open them up:

Then paint the chrome black for your car color, and tint the lense a little like this. Kinda altezza-ish since it sits behind the glass, but not as flashy like on hondas.

Yah each piece can come apart separately...so you could just paint the chrome or paint both
