Where can I get a mesh grill?

Ok well.. I have spent the last week or so cruising around the internet looking for some sort of chrome mesh grill. Halfway through I realized I dont want chrome, I would rather have some sort of black mesh instead.

I have a silver mini with black rims, black roof, and black tinted windows, so my accented color is black. I want to replace the upper, middle, and lower grills.. as well as the rear if possible. I would also like to replace the hoodscoop but that is damn expensive.

Now I have looked at the "grill guy"'s grills on ebay, but he doesnt sell any sort of upper or middle grill. I have looked at the aero grill, and I love it, but I have heard so many stories of how impossible it is to install.. and I am definetly not one to work with cars :(.

I dont like the horizontal ____ (I dont know what you call the stock mini upper and middle grill).. I would rather get some sort of mesh.

Anyone able to help me out?

Thanks

Alright well I love the look of the M7 grilles. It is a bit expensive, but I just sold some computer stuff on Ebay so I think i might be able to afford it.

I would, though, like to buy the upper, middle, lower, and rear grilles all in one package. Do you know any sites that would do that? And what hoodscoop would compliment the M7 grille very nicely?

Lastly, does the M7 come in black?

How about the aero grill? It can me modifed to fit a stock bumper, and it only costs $80 dollars. Here is a picture:

Here is one that shows the grill a little better:

Yea.. I love the aero grille as well. The only thing that is strange about it is it is surrounded by a black colored thing.. (I dont know what to call it).. that is not mesh. I dont know if that would look right on my silver car.

Also, I seriously doubt that I could "modify" it.. without screwing something up very bad. I am such a newb when it comes to cars, I really dont want to be messing around with stuff like that.

Something to consider...some have painted that black surrounding you are talking about body color (silver, in your case).

Anyways, good luck finding what you are looking for .

Get the M7 Upper and Middle grilles in black. They're sweet. Yes, they're expensive, too, but I didn't want to mess with carving up an aero grille (besides, the cost would have been the same by the time I also invested in a Dremel tool.) I left the lower grille stock since it already has a black mesh look to it. I'm probably going to make one of the Home Depot gutter guard intercooler grilles next . .

Yea I am thinking about going with the M7. Do you guys think I should get it in the back too? Since it is already Black I may just keep it the same.

I am thinking I am going to take off the decals, because they are sort of messed up and stained, and not replace them. To keep an interesting look, I want to get a carbon fiber or SOME sort of new hood scoop. Any suggestions that dont cost 200 dollars??

Also.. could someone PLEASE show me a picture of a silver mini with the M7 Black grille?

Where did you get those "turnbuckles" holding the front spoiler - I guess they are adjustable and I love the look of them.

Does anybody out there happen to have a used black M7 ultimate grill set or carbon fiber hood scoop? I am really looking for ways to get a hold of this stuff, and buying it used woudl definetly save me some money.

I just recently got the M7 Grills and a Carbon Fiber Hood from Seibon for my 06' MCS due to my front end disappearing on account of a tire. I like the grills.. don't get me wrong... but they are certainly not worth what you pay.

I dunno man... sometimes you just gotta take the hits if you're going to be modding your Cooper.

oh rly? i find them to be of great quality + durability. i recently was in an accident and damaged both of my grills, had them blasted, and reshaped due to a little tweaking from the accident and painted, and they look like they were brand new.
