Be nice one day if you could set the weight of the wheel to the driver's preference. Electronic steering is usually too light I reckon, and I hope they haven't lightened it too much.

 

Interesting that a common lament from both recent articles relates to the loss of the MCS supercharger whine, calling it "characterless" even though the engine seems to deliver flawlessly. Such a minor point, imo. Perhaps it would have been more fair for them to test drive an '07 Cooper.

 

that turbo does sound nice though

 

On the MINI2 videos it's very apparent from outside the car. I wonder if that will be the case for the driver. The exhaust burble on overrun too...I hope the "is something is wrong with my car" complaints won't have them taking back that character feature too.
