Any of you Alabama BRG's have an extra bonnet scoop laying around? Mine is broken and can't be re-attached.

I think those northern Alabama BRG fellas have called themselves the Booger Patrol on occasion. . . .

Let me preface this by saying I have had Mexi food & several margaritas...Now I am so tempted to start a whole new thread (should I?) based on booger alert phrases because I know there are a gazillion of them like "you got a bat in the cave" (Oh the poddy humor, sry but it just gets me)

 

Where is it broken at? My 03 broke where the mount was that the screw went into. I took it apart and used jbweld to attatch it to the main part and never had another problem with it.

If you're going to Barbers this Saturday. Bring the scoop. Or at least remind me and I'll show you what I did on mine.

 

I don't have the scoop but remember I didn't give you that part you needed from my bumper when I had it replaced.

BTW the Booger Patrol is down to two BRG Mini's. WE Kicked SB out. We told him to take his JCW and go. No what happen is when we all pulled away SB just run off and left us because we could keep up.

 

Hey, I'm still considering painting the ic cooler cover green so to have a little green showing through the nostril.

 

That would work. BRG cooler cover.

 

I ended up using that PC-7 putty epoxy to fix mine yesterday. I stuffed each of the mounting brackets full of the stuff and used it to re-attach the broken one.

I am so happy that my MINI looks right again!
