no, not the animals so PETA can relax

after seeing the oem headers and cats i think it is deffinately something i want to change at some point but i have heard that some people have had problems with their cats frying, i think i have only seen this on modded 'S' cars so i was wondering if anyone has had this happen on a cooper, i figure we are safer cuz we don't have superchargers modded or standard

i am having a bugger of a time trying to find one with the right shape ports as the ports are a rectangular shape with R15 rads on the top 2 corners and R6 rad on the lower 2 corners, not round like some of them look

if the cat destroying tendance is 'S' then i would be perfectly happy with a integrated cat like miltek (although i hear they replace under a life-time warrenty?) if the cats are going to be dying then i would rather get a mini madness v2 or supersprint style just so it is easy to replace and i can put a straight pipe for track days

what do you guys know about this? and what headers do ya'll recommend i would like to avoid paying piles of money eg miltek and madness but if i need to in order to get the right shaped ports i will
